I love riding w/ my friends. It's so different from all those years in the car w/ my parents. You can talk about such different things, listen to different music, and simply relax. It's an odd thing. Not much is different besides who's driving.

Doodles

i love to draw. i'm such a perfectionist, i usually have to erase or scratch out loads of times before i can ever finish a drawing, even if it's only on the side of my geometry homework. ;)

Crepes

Have you ever had crepes? They're SOO good!!! I love them with sugar and nice, cold fraises! (Strawberries)

Grandparents

I know this is totally useless information to you, but my grandparents are up visiting from Texas! :]
I live in Michigan, so we rarely get to see them.
Grannie and Pop. :]
They came up earlier than we expected, so the had to wait in the Detroit airport for a longggg time until the realized we weren't coming. lol. We were thinking they'd be up today, not yesterday. Oops.
At least now we have another funny story for the family to remember. :]

Love

Love.
A simple, four letter word.
Easy to say, impossible to describe.
I think I'm in love.
Once you fall, you can't get back up. Even if you manage to get to your knees, you'll never fully recover from love.
But who wants to recover from love? Especially if you are with the person that has a place in your heart? If you were to try to take them from that vital organ, you'd bring damage to it. You would no longer be the person you once were.
Love is complicated. At least, when words go unspoken, it is.
Love has to be honest, for it to work. You can't lie to the one you love, especially if they don't yet know how you feel.
There are a lot of rules that go along with love, people say. But really, they're only guidlines. Love is the simplest thing our souls go through:
once you are in, you're never coming out.

scanning pictures

Listening to music, updating my blog, and trying to scan pictures onto the computer.

Have you ever tried to scan pictures?
You have to make sure it's nice and straight, that there is nothing on the photo, and that you don't crinkle it or something.
Fun.
Well... I'm doing it for my mom, so I'm trying.

writing in lavender

My blog now has a name.
Writing in lavender.
Whenever I write, as long as I have it, I will write with my lavender-colored marker.
And then I transfer what is on my pad of paper, little corner of a page, or back of a note onto my blog, Writing in lavender.

Another mobile post. I'm bored. It's summer. I'm in the high school, for my sister's marching band fitting. I wish I was at the beach, swimming. Sigh. Oh well.

knitting

recently (today), i came across my grandma's basket of knitting needless, yarn, and books on knitting and crochetting in our basement. i decided i'd learn the art of knitting! there are so many things you can make from knitting, so i decided to learn. so, then, after bringing the basket upstairs, i hopped on the computer and opened up google (of course). all in all, it took a couple of replays each of four different videos from three totally random sites for me to figure it out. so, right now i am in the process of making a scarf. i'm actually impressed with how far i've gotten for a beginner... if you want to learn how to knit, to, then here are the video (links) that taught me to knit! have fun :]
