mobile post

This is a mobile post - this blog's first, actually. So, this is sort of a tester. Testing, testing, one, two, three. :]

Lying still, with the sun on my skin.
A smile for a while on my face has been.
My headphones sing music straight to my ears.
The warmth of the sun washes away all fears.
Lying in the sun, I become stress-free.
There's nothing to do. So I just let it be.

the raindrops land softly, creating no sound.
within the invisible cage of silence i'm bound.
you can hear the small rustle of leaves and of grass.
as on past the air the small raindrops pass.
so leave it to peace and to rest and to love.
as raindrop fall easily from high, high above.

knitting

recently (today), i came across my grandma's basket of knitting needless, yarn, and books on knitting and crochetting in our basement. i decided i'd learn the art of knitting! there are so many things you can make from knitting, so i decided to learn. so, then, after bringing the basket upstairs, i hopped on the computer and opened up google (of course). all in all, it took a couple of replays each of four different videos from three totally random sites for me to figure it out. so, right now i am in the process of making a scarf. i'm actually impressed with how far i've gotten for a beginner... if you want to learn how to knit, to, then here are the video (links) that taught me to knit! have fun :]
